It was a real 'pea souper' of a foggy morning as I drove to Drogheda.
However, there wasn't as much as I had expected alone the river.
This is the Boyne Viaduct, an eighteen-span limestone and iron bridge built in 1855 to facilitate the crossing of the Belfast to Dublin railway.
It was designed by Sir John MacNeill.
