violin in the attic

actually in a restorer's shop in Woodbridge and might just possibly be one of the few genuine ones, but in too poor condition to restore - but the vast majority are fakes and copies. The label being part printed and part handwritten is a touch forgers might not bother with and note the central division down the base which corresponds to the illustration of complete one at this website

There's many a good tune played on an old fiddle, although in this case it maybe a bridge too far.
