This is the weather for soup. For good warming homemade food.
This is my store cupboard soup. It takes just about half an hour to cook.
A chopped onion, chicken stock, a tin of tomatoes, a tin of mixed beans, herbs and seasoning.
Ten minutes before the end, add some broken pieces of spaghetti and that's it.
You can also add some baby spinach leaves or fresh basil.
Serve garnished with grated parmesan and fresh bread.
