Space Needle and the 12th Man

OH HOLY COW! The fever pitch in this city... no not just the city, but the entire state of Washington, even way broader than that... all the way to Alaska, Hawaii, heck I've even seen 12th man photos from the farthest reaches of the planet! I have NEVER seen so much excitement for a sporting event as the Seattle Seahawks! What a tremendously exciting time for this area and I couldn't be more delighted as a photographer to capture some of the essence of the time!

Regarding this shot, I setup in a spot I scouted out on Wednesday and began shooting just prior to sunset. But the real action was AFTER it got dark. The vertical lights came on, the colored lights on the Needle lit up, and then the most amazing thing happened; the fog began to settle in around the top of the Needle that caused this really cool glow of the Seahawk colors! My oh my, what an incredible day, and especially this evening it was!
