This was the night the Aurora was supposed to arrive in the North East of Scotland after a solar storm
Set up with a couple of mates at a high vantage point in Chapel of Garioch facing directly North
Aurora never arrived, although tinges of colours are a little evident, but the clear sky was incredible
This is a composite photo of 187 images stacked on top of each other .... each shot was 20 seconds
