becak was photographed outside the Great Mosque in Medan,
Indonesia. There are lots of them there, operating as taxis for
locals and tourists. They are more expensive and faster than
the pulled becak, can carry two (or more) persons depending
on passenger’s size, and another person can ride on the back
of the motorcycle. They usually have a roof and windscreen.
