Since Mother Nature visited us last night with 4 inches of white, and it wasn't SO COLD like it has been for some other DPF members, I ventured outside before dawn and tried to capture some of the texture of the white stuff on a spruce tree. The challenge was to avoid overexposure of the snow's surface, but even so I had to use Nik software to recover some of the detail of the surface.
