Rubber necking

I was awaked this morning to the sound of a helicopter close by.
From my window I could see it descending REALLY close to my house.
I got out of bed, grabbed my camera, changed lenses, popped in the
memory card, and went around the corner five houses from mine, to see this.

I was unable to determine what had happened or why they were there.

How else would you have the morning newspaper delivered ?.

Unusual traffic you have there, Gary...a good street scene.

Not an every day scene thank goodness.
A nice bit of photo journalism.

Wow. That lens/camera combination creates a clear and beautifully coloured/contrasty image. The image clarity is perfect and the image pops for all the right reasons.
