Considering this was shot "indoors" at night under ambient lighting, I feel the Galaxy 4 can do a half way decent job with close ups.
Frankly, I was surprised to get anything at all under the shooting conditions.
This little fellow was part of a "living display" during a nighttime function at the local botanical gardens.
I couldn't capture him with my bridge camera and no flash.
Although not perfect, the Cell Phone wins a point for getting the job done and still fitting in my purse.

Cell Phone Cams aren't what they used to be. I actually use my current one. It's good for memory shots when you would otherwise miss the moment.
