There are pros and cons of living here. With much of the UK apparently underwater, being on a hill nearly 1000 feet above sea level, we’re unlikely to have a flood problem. On the other hand, being on a hill nearly 1000 feet above sea level, we get a real battering by strong winds. The weather pattern seems set for frequent storms one after the other, and today has been a day of calm before the next one slams in mid morning tomorrow. The forecast for next week is already looking pretty bad. When next we see a calm sunset, this palm, or possibly the engine house in the background, may not be here.
