2nd Offer...

Dagupan City, Philippines

So he understands that I just ate breakfast and was full. He then gets up, goes into his home and comes back with a glass and a bottle of his best brandy. What was I going to say now...it is 10 in the morning and I already had my morning brandy? He pours me about two shots and starts talking about his boxing career and fishing.

I thought to myself what am I doing but then, again, he is enjoying this conversation with me. He looked to my a little like the Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiáo, so I gave him the nickname "Pacquiáo". I tried to put the unfinished glass down but he would have none of that and insisted I finished my drink...

These are not "staged" pictures, but me shooting as this was happening. The Filipino people are very generous and even if they have nothing, they will share what they can with you and it gives then pleasure.

I agree, some of my friends are Filipino and they are some of the kindest and
nicest people you could ever meet. ~V~
