New Year's Eve, Tampere

Buildings were beautifully lit on New Year's Eve.
This lovely Art Nouveau building was completed in 1905.
It's a listed building and used to be an old peoples home until 1984.
Now it is a music school.

The colors are lovely and live in harmony, very nice work with your camera setting allowing to achieve such a lovely photograph.
I can almost hear the New Years song playing.

I do like the colours here, and the Finnish architecture too. Although I have never got much time to explore beyond Helsinki and Porvoo. Hopefully a few days back in Helsinki later this month.

One point that I have noticed with Anitta's photography in Finland that I really admire is her choice of colors (manmade, natural, or combination of) in her art of photography. Finland must be a beautiful country even when dressed in Winter white and one day it would be nice to see all the beauty that she shares with us for myself. Many thanks for sharing that beauty of natural, of the people, and the art of Finland with us. Hopefully 2014 will also be rich in sharing what your eye observes and what you photo skill captures.
