The old Pony Express station was rebuilt in the 1930's and stands today in the Western desert as a relic of the famous but short-lived days of the Pony Express.
It was really cold out there tonight, but I have been wanting to shoot a night shot of the historic site with new snow. High thin clouds reflected warm light from the near by Army base which added to the color in this image.
A flash light lit the outside and then the inside during the same exposure. The snow really helped make the image stand out.
