This is the river Gljúfurá (meaning the river in the gorge) and the old bridge over the river. As can be seen only one car could pass it at a time and the road took a 90°turn just before you reached to bridge.
There were a lot of accidents here before they build the new bridge which is where this picture was taken from.
During summer there are salmons in the river and it is with salmon fishers.
