Davis Creek Park Pond

This park is in Washoe, Nevada, a few miles south of Reno. It's about 12 miles from my home.
Today was simply gorgeous - temperatures in the low fifties, plenty of sunshine.
Most of our recent snow has melted, but some stubbornly clings to areas that remain shady most of the day.
What you see here, however, is ice dusted with snow covering the pond.

Already I found a glitch with PBase that's unsettling. I can't list my camera, the Canon 70D. It's not on the list.

Yep. You do live in a nice area. You have snow AND nice weather.

Update: Thanks to the tip from Sheila, I emailed PBase and got the camera listed in the data base.

I don't think so Gary .. once it is there, I think it stays.
Gary Winters02-Jan-2014 01:52
Thanks, Robin. I did as you suggested. Will I have to do this with each photo?

Put 70D in the other slot on the edit screen.
Excellent photo to start the New Year and new PAD
