Cathedral Rock-Taking a Photo with the LX-7

Sedona, AZ

I purchased the white body LX-7 not out of any aesthetic appeal, but because Amazon was out of the black bodies at the time, and the white cameras were actually cheaper than the black models offered by other vendors. At this writing (1Jan2014), I see that the white bodies have shot back up in price.
For outdoor photography, the LCD should be configured for automatic brightness adjustment, otherwise--as with other LCD cameras--it's almost impossible to see what you're shooting in bright light.
Note the cars in the parking lot in the photo to get a sense of how close the trailhead is to the rock. The trail is steep but fairly easy, although accessing the vortex area requires a final four-point scramble up a short, but steep rock gulley.
