As the year comes to an end a few photography wishes for 2014, some based on personal experiences in 2013.

May I always have an extra fully charged camera battery in my bag.
May I always have a memory card IN the camera.
May I not lose a lens cap, a hat or one glove.
May I not have too much lens, too little lens or the wrong lens.
May I not drop a lens on a cement floor.
May my knees not ache when I kneel down to shoot, my back not seize up when I stand in one spot for too long, and my neck not feel sore when I search the tree tops.
May I not hear (too often): "You just missed….", Right after you left…." or "You should have been here."
May I continue to share the friendship and laughter with other photographers who have generously shared their expertise with me.
