The Holy Cross Chapel in Sedona.
A successful photograph is more about the light than the subject or composition. THIS image, for example, does not have great light, but sometimes you're there when you're there and have to make the best of it. In this case, a circular polarizer filter was used to saturate colors. Given the south-facing orientation of the chapel, either late afternoon or perhaps early morning should work for best light, depending on the time of year.
