Shirley, thanks for the comment! I grew up in Grand Rapids, MI, and went to school at Ann Arbor, MI, for 8 years before moving South. I knew the cold weather very well. One night in January, as a poor student, I was driving back to school in an unheated car with the outside temperature dropping to below -20F.

I've always wondered how odd it would be to have Christmas with no snow. Since it is -14*F here in Blaine, MN, that sandy game of V-Ball looks great!
