NGC 2070 (The Tarantula Nebula) is a difficult object to process given the large dynamic range of the image. Required selecting different areas in Photoshop and processing them separately to avoid overexposing the core of the nebula. As this shot was taken on the southern outskirts of Bathurst, an Astronomik CLS-CCD clip in filter was used in the 60Da camera to cut down the light pollution. This worked but require pushing the sub exposure time out to ten minutes so as to catch sufficient data. Will have another go at this one when there is time to capture more data.
