It's an Indian Spice Container and I just picked it up locally. (without the spices). Luckily in my web search I saw that World Market had one for only $9.99. Some of those I've seen on Amazon were quite expensive and too large for my needs. It was fun filling it. Next, I have to find some recipes to use those spices!

Update: Recently picked up a copy of "Aarti Paarti - An American Kitchen with an Indian Soul" by Aarti Sequiera. Fabulous and entertaining way to learn about Indian ingredients. Her writing is delightful. Worth it just to learn how to fry onions!
