Je me levais aux environs de midi. Je me hâtais de me préparer et sortais pour manger quelque chose. Avec la pluie de la soirée précédente, le temps avait changé. Un vent froid soufflait sur le môle et des lumières spectrales hantaient les édifices de la lagune.

I got up around noon. I hurried to get ready and go out to eat something. With the rain of the previous evening, the weather had changed. A cold wind blew over the pier and spectral lights haunted buildings all around the lagoon.
