Superbe photo qui me permet de bien détailler ces étranges petites bêtes.

This is so interesting! What a neat photo. It seems so unusual that a mammal would mainly feed on nectar.

So interesting - they look like bats. V

They are beautiful creatures! We have no bats anywhere near this size here. Isn't it remarkable how animals somehow know when to converge on a certain spot. It must be an astounding spectacle, and if the mass flowering happens only once a decade, then this huge gathering of flying foxes must also be a rarity?

Is it deafening Don? Amazing how close they clump together! We have black cockatoos
that arrive on our property when the acacias have seed pods hanging, and we often
wonder how they know!
