As you get closer to Bell Rock on this trail, there seems to be a boundary area where you may be able to sense a strong energy emanating from the rocks. After you pass through this periphery zone, it calms down quite a bit. You can make a big loop around Bell Rock and Cathedral Butte. There is also supposed to be a smaller loop around Bell Rock, but the trail dead-ended for us on a rocky ledge with multiple cairns, and we had to backtrack.
