Mardi Gras

642 Spruce St - Norco, LA

Bloom colors of plumerias are determined by the heat and humidity while the buds are forming. The blooms in the previous photo, and the large pale blooms in this photo (which are the same blooms), were in the bud stage during cooler, rainy weather. The brighter colored blooms in this photo were in the bud stage during sunny weather when the temperature got into the low 80s. It's 42°F this morning, so the new blooms are much smaller.

I can't imagine anything blooming in this cold. Mine never did bloom. I like the darker color. I have not seen the eagles, am I looking at the wrong nest?
