Tal Faibish, beyond being one of my very best friends and astro-buddies (combined in one person -
that's a great advantage :-)) is a world-class astrophotography expert in his own right.
Without any doubt, Tal is the top galaxy astrophotographer in Israel, and IMHO one of the best in
the world. His renditions of these dim fuzzies are masterpieces that I save and cherish time and
again - as they are not merely expertly done captures of astronomical objects, but rather manage
capturing the very essence of these objects... island universes floating at the depths of space, each
holding yet to be told secrets and stories...
As for me, my technical knowledge and processing skills have, for years now, benefitted immensely
from Tal's natural technological expertise and creative thinking. No mount, focuser, new SW or scope
are too complicated for Tal to master in but a minute, or day or two; never longer. Not to mention
the numerous times where a technical problem comes out in the field, jeoperdizing the whole night
ahead; Tal's love for problem solving and the smooth synergistic manner by which we are able to
work together, make no problem truly difficult, and makes solving them all so much fun.
Much of the beauty I share with you on this site has Tal's finger marks all over it. For that, his
friendship, and many hundreds of hours of fun, here and at the desolate desert in Namibia, I stand
in his eternal debt.
I warmly recommend visiting Tal's site at - http://www.faibish.co.il
