This little lochan is an unexpected find on the quiet B road out of Glencoe village. It often has superb reflections on it being very sheltered with woods hills and mountains on three of four sides. To me it looks like something out of the Canadian back country golden larch backlit by mid afternoon sunshine against precipitous mountains all duly reflected in the shallow lochan. Apart from a little breeze that wouldn't quite disappear it was all but perfect.
