Yes, a nice emotive capture.

I like the life shown in this picture, it shows 2 different state of minds. The little boy is sleeping probably in a dream state and the dog looks aware like he's looking over the boy. I don't like how close the picture is, I feel if you would have zoomed out of the picture the frame of the picture would look much better, perhaps if you had gotten the whole bed in the shot. It makes me feel warm inside because it shows the love and passion that the dog has, you can clearly see that the dog loves him, its by his side even when he's asleep and the dogs not. It makes me think these two have a very strong loving relationship. I think the use of light is exceptional but I would have made the light a tone bit darker, I think its a little to bright from the top left corner, and i think the dark spots on the dog should be brought out a little more. I like the use of rule of thirds in this picture, it really shows a sense of balance. It almost looks like the heads of both the dog and boy are perfectly diagonal from each other. I think you could use the curves tool to darken some spots and the picture would be close to perfect. I think this picture overall is a wonderful picture, I love how you put everyday life to use and created such a meaningful yet artsy kind of picture. -Dmytro
