A couple more shots of the Lapland Longspur from last week, this time from the sandy beach. The Lapland Longspur and his Snow Bunting friends would spend some time feeding on the beach and then fly to the nearby rocky shore to drink water from the puddles formed by melting ice and pick seeds from the weeds growing among the rocks before returning to the beach and starting the cycle all over again.
