Ev'ry time I'm walking all down the street
Some pretty mama start breaking down on me.
Stop breaking down, baby, please, stop breaking down.
Stuff is gonna bust you brains out, baby,
Gonna make you lose your mind...
'Stop breaking down' originally is an old folk blues song, recorded in 1937 by legendary blues musician Robert Johnson (May 8, 1911 August 16, 1938).
The Stones recorded it for their 'Exile on Main Street' album in 1972.
The song is one of my all time favourites, and definitely my favourite song from the album.
Thereīs also a recording of the only ever live performance of the song by the Stones (a great version together with blues musician Robert Cray),
included on 'The Rolling Stones: Voodoo Lounge Live' concert DVD.
Another Robert Johnson song 'Love in vain' was recorded by the Stones on their 'Let it bleed' album.
Robert Johnsonīs music not only had a great influence on the Stones, but also on other rock musicians and bands, like Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac.
Got that reflection from a full rain butt in the city, with that empty bottle on top of the water. Turned it into a night shot.
'Doppelkorn' is rather hard stuff (38%). It probably keeps you warm in the cold, but I wouldnīt drink.
