High quality photo it’s not. My excuse? I’m knackered.
Adrenaline quotient? About 80%. I’m doing OK so far but obviously have a really long way to go.
On the other hand, I spent the first half of the morning “on my hind legs” in front of my clever-clogs maths students, then I helped some children to write poetry about their blindfold sensory walk from yesterday…oh, I didn’t tell you did I – I spent yesterday morning leading 16 blindfold ten-year-olds around attached to a length of rope in a field in the wet. Then today spent a couple of hours outside in temperatures barely above freezing, with hailstones the size of marbles thrashing down all around me while I made sure that my ten-year-olds were looking after the 50+ four-year-olds in their care while they were doing the orienteering course we set up for them. Then I took thirty-odd children swimming. I topped off the day with a raft of parent consultations and since I’ve been home have had to work hard on stuff for tomorrow.
Did I say I’m loving every moment? I don't know if my fledgling hot fruits will ripen but it won't be for lack of will or enthusiasm...
