A bit controversial, but I decided to make this image regardless because we're all adults, and
most of us have children!

I know my kids will be studying NSSI (non-suicidal self-injury) in Social Studies,
so I imagine this image might just help serve as an educational tool in the future.

Studies show that 14% of adolescents are self-injuring themselves to espcape emotional pain or numbness around the world!!

Get educated.
Talk to your kids.
Watch for these signs:
- stops wearing shorts or short-sleeves
- doesn't "feel like going swimming"
- band-aids start flying out of the box
- leaves the room to be alone when emotional topics are being discussed
