Black-necked Stilt eggs

The day prior she was sitting on these eggs. A major rain downpour followed shortly afterwards and she never returned. She was possibly picked up for lunch by the resident Alligator or the eggs were considered contaminated by the storm? Mom can be seen on the previous image..
