Absence of Colour

It was a dull colourless November day.
Just going to watch 'Before Midnight' thanks to Apple TV
so I'll catch up with commenting over the weekend.

Nikon D7000
1/500s f/5.0 at 35.0mm iso640 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

{Googles the movie...} The chick-flick force is strong in this one. I sense a need for your husband to watch between 1.5 and two "Die Hards" to compensate.
It's not just the colours that make this grey. It's perhaps a little hard to be sure, but superficially the petals appear to have seen better days as well.

Good idea to show these in mono. Lovely result.

They look like they are ready to give in to winter, although as Karen said, you still have flowers, and they look beautiful in monochrome. V.

November days often seem grey and bleak. It is so here, too. Love this image, though. V

I agree with Karen. Still pretty, even without the color. V

These look pretty in black and white. At least you still have flowers. V.
