"The Thirty Thousand Pounds of Bananas Hill" from 11-12-13 on "the hill that leads into Scranton Pennsylvania".

This may be the most eclectic tourist spot that we visited during our two-day trip to Scranton, PA to visit our friend on November 11-12, 2013.

The song, "30,000 Pounds of Bananas" by Harry Chapin told the true story of this tragic incident which happened on March 18, 1965.
