The Slocan Valley Rail Trail was converted from an old railway corridor into an all-season trail for non-motorized recreational use. This 45km (27 mile) trail in the Slocan River valley passes through forests, farms, small communities and scenic open landscapes. The photo was taken on the trail between the villages of Slocan and Lemon Creek.
