The S.S. Moyie is the oldest intact passenger sternwheeler in the world. The Moyie transported passengers and freight to communities on Kootenay Lake from 1898 to 1957. The ship has been impressively restored by volunteers and is now a National Historic Site of Canada that is open to visitors from May to October.
