Gherkin - looking up

The City of London

The Gherkin or 30, St. Mary Axe, to give it its correct title is one of the tallest and most distinctive of the London towers. It is possible to walk right up to the base of this building. If you do and look up it takes on a spherical shape - you feel it would be quite easy to climb up even though it is close to 600 feet in height.
