The Orphans

Lake Tahoe, CA

Here are both of the last years orphaned bears who survived winter
after their mother was killed last summer. They still hang out
together quite a bit. Wondering if they'll hibernate together?

This is a very nice photo of these two, Sandi. How was their mother killed? They look huge so were they already a year or two old when she was killed? Do you think they are a male and female? the one on top looks larger. Well done!! V
