Carol's W&A Porcelain Lady In Her Parlour.

This is one of Carol's German porcelain figurines. I think she is very pretty.

Information from online - "The figure was made by WAGNER AND APEL (W & A) GmbH, PORCELAIN FIGURINES LIPPELSDORF, LIPPELSDORF54, 98743 GRAFENTHAL/THUR. WAGNER & APEL (Thuringia, East Germany - 1877 to current day), a fine company making beautiful wares."

This was written about a different figurine but I think it fits here too. :) - "You only have to look to see the beauty of this piece - the pose, the color, the intricacy and flow of the modeling. Germany was the front runner in producing European hard-paste porcelain as early as 1710. This piece is new in comparison, but a stunning item all the same."

Composition is quite good for this beautiful figurine. And you're right, she is very pretty!

What a beauty and so well shot, Vern. I'm with Jack, she reminds me of Carol too. Wonderful reflections.

That is really gorgeous and the reflection of the pretty lady makes it twice as nice. My dad was in Germany during WWII and he brought back some Hummels but they have all gotten broken over the years.

Lovely! Must be raining up there. Good day for shooting indoors.

Beautiful figurine made by excellent German craftsmanship.I think the lady's outfit is probably later than 1877 like John wrote. My guess: bewteen 1920-1935

Very cute. Somehow I don't think she's from an 1877 original - scandalous!
