IC1396 from the Perdido/Beulah landfill 3 November 2013.
Rare chance to shoot this one in a high, dark, clear sky.
More lights at the landfill than I thought there would be.
That bright band to upper left is a power line,
I was already polar aligned when I noticed it would be in the field.
You'll notice I also reframed during the sequence.
This would be a good object for Munson or Paquette.
About 15 minutes total exposure with a modified 40D and 300mm lens @ f/4.5.
I would have preferred a couple hours total exposure but it was a work night.
