Ships' Names

As you can see, it was a dull dreary day in Dundalk.
These metal cubes, inscribed with the names of ships which sailed into Dundalk port in the 19th century, are by artist Martina Galvin.
They stand in front of County Hall and here, you can see, St Joseph's Redemptorist Church in the background.

I like the arrangement; the lines of tree branches thrusting up leads the eye toward the spire and lamp post at the far end, and therefore necessarily along into the cubes as well.
