Birds in the Bush

I was supposed to be having a 'duvet day' today as I've got the sniffles.
However, I spotted this flock of birds when I ventured out to the clothes line so had to get my camera to get a snap of them.
I think they're some kind of finches but not sure which. Any idea?

No clue. But I like the way that they and the branches stand out against the clear blue of the sky, something of a rarity from your galleries.

they appear to be Teapot Finches, which habitually position themselves to mimic this familiar outline..
