Usually in Fall I start seeing a lot of our local pair of Red-shouldered Hawks. This one has been spotted several time this week watching our growing numbers of gray squirrels.
Here she's perched on one of our bird feeders. This shot was taken through a double-pained glass window.
Problem is, I spooked her and she flew off without getting a squirrel - - I depend on her to keep my squirrel population in check.
