Life Will Find A Way

Cummingston, Moray, Scotland.

The answer to the first question is "no I didn't". You can work out the question yourself. I am aware that er! rock art isn't everyone's cuppa tea but.. These beautiful stones some of the finest I have ever come across randomly align themselves in depressions and scoops in this amazingly luminous ochre sandstone which you can find in several places along the Moray coast but most vividly at Cummingston. The little seaweed frond, a metaphor for a sapling struggling against the elements, was plastered flat against the bedrock and the stones had neatly parted to frame it. One of my favourites.

NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses and the 2014 Transient Light Calendars are now available at TRANSIENT LIGHT

Mother Nature has her way of creating her art. It is our choice to view it and finely capture it.

I can see why it is a favorite.
