I've never had that brand but the orange Creams would be my choice! It's a very attractive Company Logo too. V

We still favour the Arnott's brand even though they're no longer made in Oz, sad.
I start my day with their Gingernuts. :) v

Arnotts down here too - I wonder how long ago it is since the original Arnotts sold out!!
Mieke WA Minkjan24-Oct-2013 05:56
Arnott's teddy bears are my favourites

Like Alan said - pity the sold out to foreign ownership. Tim tam's and Shortbreads are my favourites.
Alan K24-Oct-2013 01:43
The ones that were made before the company was sold to foreign interests, unfortunately. I still buy Arnott's occasionally but not as often as I did, and Campbell's not at all any longer. My favourite USED to be the Maryland (chocolate chip), but they no longer make those. I was also partial to Spicy Fruit Rolls, but those are gone as well. Although I haven't had any for literally years... I think that Mint Slices would be the surviving favourite.
I can imagine this being on the side of a small local shop, one of the few surviving ones. It's interesting that the paintwork is still fresh and bright so wherever it is, they obviously felt it worthwhile to maintain it. Most signs like these are relics from decades ago which have faded almost into oblivion.

Are they cookies? Love the sign. I wish I had tried them when I was there.
LynnH24-Oct-2013 01:15
Well, I've never heard of them... but I have to say that the two flavors you mentioned would certainly be on top of my list.
Faye White24-Oct-2013 01:14

A fine logo, so well captured. I always have some biscuits with me on my bike, a good snack in between. But have never heard of these. v
