Col.legi de Les Teresianes

The corridors on the first floor work like the galleries in medieval cloisters: they go around the patio and strettch out over long distances.The narrowness of the basic constructive elements (pillar, arches and windows) along with the proximity between the mentioned pillars and the prevailing chormatic sobriety provides an ascetic atmosphere to the first floor rooms.

Wonderful arches you captured in great light, Jose. Not the typical gothic shape, but Gaudi seems to have created his own unique arch shape that builds on the principle of raising the center point for greater height and light. V
