Back from town and the smoke is quite thick around the town and is worsening even though we are about an hour west of the mountains .We have been contacting friends and extended family in the Springwood/Winmalee area.
Our heart goes out to those who have lost houses,pets and and like a thich injured

Very frightful. We had terrible fires here in Texas in 2011 and 2012. My heart breaks for them. Glad to know you are feeling better.

That is both frightful and appalling. I had no idea. Fire is the scariest of all things I think. I hope you are safe. V

Hope weather conditions improve and that firefighters can get a handle on the fires.
I've been through floods, tornadoes and earthquakes, but there's nothing scarier than a firestorm. The Cedar Fire here in 2003 came close to our house. Over 2,200 homes were lost.
