C2012/S1 ISON in Leo, on Oct 14, 2013 6:24am PDT (Oct. 14, 13:24 UT). The bright orange star to the
lower right is BD+14 2202 at a magnitude of 8.97. Imaged with a Pentax K-5 DSLR and a Celestron
EdgeHD 9.25 at f10, on a Losmandy G11/Gemini mount. The field of view is approximately 34 x 22 arc
minutes. This image is a combination of 18 exposures at 92 seconds and an ISO of 1600 (taken from
5:15 am to 6:24 am). Slight crop and downsized from the original image and processed using DSS,
Photoshop CS5 and PixInsight LE. North is up and East is to the left.
