This has to be a sad irony. The memorial at right, honoring “Swayne Mathews” (“S. Wayne Mathews”?) is just uphill from a “Please Don’t Drink and Drive” memorial I photographed on another occasion.
This is on a decending curve on a street whose speed limit is
40 mph (30 mph would be better for this cuurve).
Ironic indeed, reading a sign like this on a dangerous road is very liable to cause the driver to crash because his attention is not on the dangerous road.
